I've finished my game specification, so I have completed stage 1 and am ready to submit.
I have a timeline in place for stage 2/development. I will get started right away, because any opportunity to be ahead of time will give me an advantage for the later stages of the timeline such as adding online features.

Stage 1: Getting Started
In this blog, I will regularly post updates about my progress in the Mobile Games Development assessment. I am currently working on stage 1 of the assessment.
Note that I am also keeping an up-to-date preview of the working code at slashgame.hol.es.

I have set up a Trello account to hold all my tasks and goals and a BitBucket repository to always hold up-to-date code, which at the moment just holds a php file and a JavaScript file with a bare-bones game loop. I have also done a fair amount of my game specification document. The main thing I still have to do is create a Gantt chart holding my projected timeline for the rest of the project.
